MONT BELVIEU & CONWAY AVERAGE THURSDAY PROPANE PRICES

at a glance During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, increased. The posted prices increased 15.375 cents/gal, from August mid-month to September mid-month, and spot prices increased 15.875 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings increased 11.275 cents/gal and spots increased 12.5 cents over the month.

at a glance Canada’s primary underground propane inventories increased by 32.8% in August, according to the Canada Energy Regulator (CER). The total represented a month-to-month increase of 369.7 Mcm. Compared to a year earlier, stocks were higher, with 243.1 Mcm, or 19.4%, more product on hand. (Editor’s Note: Due to BPN’s publishing schedule, August inventory data is the latest available from the CER.)

at a glance United States propane stocks experienced a 5.496 MMbbl increase from August to September. East Coast stocks increased 408,000 bbl, the Midwest increased 1.556 MMbbl, the Gulf Coast increased 3.253 MMbbl, and the Rocky Mountain/West Coast increased 278,000 bbl. Compared to the same time in September 2025, the September 2026 U.S. stocks were 12.836 MMbbl higher.
