SUBMERGED MOTOR PUMPS
The SMP-34 submerged motor pump from Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases Group (Nikkiso CE&IG) has an application range including power generation, bunkering and import/export terminals, trailer loading and offloading, peak shaving and fuel supply systems. The SMP-34 offers a meantime of 20,000 hours between overhauls, and its performance levels provide up to 80% hydraulic efficiency. The design’s operating range includes liquid hydrogen alongside liquefied natural gas (LNG), ammonia and nitrogen.
DIAPHRAGM SEALS
Ashcroft’s 502 and 503 all-welded flanged diaphragm seals isolate sensitive instruments from hazardous and corrosive process media in demanding applications including sour gas separation and biogas and biodiesel processes. The seals feature a one-piece, all-welded construction that eliminates nonmetallic components within the seal assembly, reducing potential leak paths. Material traceability reports (MTR per EN 10204 3.1) and positive material identification (PMI) are included with every unit, providing the documentation required for critical process and NACE-compliant environments. The 502 and 503 seals are available with a wide range of wetted diaphragm and flange materials.
THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITES
Xycomp DLF thermoplastic composite components from Greene Tweed are high-performance thermoplastic composites engineered to replace metals while delivering weight savings, stiffness and strength. Applications include nacelle and engine components, interiors, aerostructures, industrial machinery and robotics. A new rapid prototyping process cuts lead times by nearly 50% compared to traditional production methods. The result is quicker access to functional parts, with lower upfront tooling costs and greater design flexibility before production.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS & TERMINALS
ETCO Incorporated’s vibration-resistant connectors and terminals feature a connector with a unisex design and a large surface area that securely mates, as well as a locking ring terminal with four teeth that bite into painted or plain metal surfaces to stay in place and prevent unwanted rotation during intense operations. The connector can also be modified to be a positive locking terminal. Vibration-resistant connectors and terminals include PCB and flex circuit connectors, quick disconnects and custom stamped contacts that can be engineered to meet OEM requirements from tinned-brass, plain brass, stainless steel and other materials. Applications for automation include space limitations, vibration, assembly efficiency, serviceability and high-volume requirements.
DIESEL SURFACE PUMPS
Impellr’s IMP4D range of 4-inch diesel surface pumps are made from galvanized steel with forklift pockets for easy maneuverability. They offer practical access and easy maintenance of oil glasses, float box, impeller, nonreturn valves and more. Durable lifting eyes enable easy transportation and allow the pump to be placed into difficult areas, and the interchangeable bunded fuel tank allows it to be used with HVO as a drop-in fuel. Pump enclosures are insulated for quiet operation.
INDICATORS, MONITORS & CONTROLLERS
Fluidwell’s Next Level F1 series of indicators, monitors and controllers begins with the F170 level monitor, which provides accurate level indication, alarm monitoring, analog retransmission and communication capabilities in a field mount enclosure. The F173 level monitor/controller offers users advanced control functionality, configurable hysteresis, remote control inputs and 48-point strapping table/linearization for accurate volume calculations and tank shape compensation. The F174 pump/level controller adds pump management features, including pump groups, alternating pump operation, running-hour balancing, fill and drain cycles, pump diagnostics and advanced level control functions. The series’ IP67, Type 4X GRP aluminum and stainless steel field enclosures can withstand extreme weather and harsh industrial conditions.
SELECTIVE SOLDERING PLATFORM
The VERSAFLOW 4 series from Kurtz Ersa offers selective soldering with a flexible modular concept and increased process flexibility. The VERSAFLOW model series can be designed both for series production of large quantities with few product changes (low mix, high volume) and for the production of small series with frequent product changes (high mix, low volume). The VERSAFLOW 4/55 offers IPC CFX-certified high-end selective soldering machine for inline production concepts, integrated CAD assistant 4, tripling of throughput with maximum flexibility and simple, clear and efficient operation, monitoring and documentation.
LOW-VOLTAGE DRIVES
The ACQ580-3P performance package from ABB utilizes an ultra-low harmonic (ULH) variable frequency drive (VFD) designed to deliver unity power factor and less than 3% THDi. Built specifically for water and wastewater operations, the ACQ580-3P includes embedded pump control and protection features that simplify commissioning and daily operation. A primary settings menu, built-in startup assistants and a diagnostic assistant help operators get the drive up and running quickly, while integrated application features such as cavitation detection and control, pump cleaning and deragging, pipe flush, dry pump and dry run protection, motor disconnect detection, motor preheat, communication fail detection and intelligent pump control support reliable system performance.
IN-LINE PUMPS
The OverWatch Direct In-Line Pump System from Industrial Flow Solutions includes a system that lifts effluent directly at the point of entry; an impeller/shredder that cuts fibrous materials and other solids; and variable speed drives for continuous modulated pumping directly from the effluent inlet to save energy. The system averts dangerous gases (H2S), eliminates smells, prevents sand and grease accumulation, avoids equipment corrosion and structural erosion, removes obstructed float switches, provides perpetual access safety and reduces maintenance time and costs.
COMBINATION AIR VALVE
Flomatic’s Sewair‑Combo NXC is a combination air valve engineered to provide reliable air release, vacuum protection and continuous air management in municipal and industrial wastewater systems. Designed in accordance with AWWA C512, it helps utilities improve hydraulic efficiency while protecting critical pipeline infrastructure from damaging air-related conditions. Engineered specifically for demanding wastewater service, the Sewair‑Combo NXC features a powder fusion-bonded epoxy-coated ductile iron body, 316 stainless steel float and stainless steel internal components that provide corrosion resistance in aggressive sewage environments. The valve incorporates two cleanout and drain ports that simplify inspection, draining, testing and backflushing procedures.
MASS SPECTROMETER
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments’ GCMS-TQ RX series is a versatile triple quadrupole gas chromatograph mass spectrometer designed to deliver reliable, high-performance analysis across a broad range of application fields. The GCMS-TQ RX series features a multimode injection unit that enhances operational efficiency and streamlines method development. It is also equipped with a detector that combines noise-reduction technologies with high amplification performance without compromising sensitivity. A dual off-axis configuration helps reduce background noise from uncharged particles, improving signal clarity and analytical reliability.
ULTRASONIC FLOW METERS
The M-3100 series of clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters from Malema is a noninvasive ultrasonic transit-time flow measurement system consisting of the M-3100T transmitter and M-3150S clamp-on ultrasonic flow sensor. Designed to measure the fluid velocity of liquid within closed conduit (pipe), the flow meters are installed on the pipe without disrupting the flow path, eliminating risks of leakage or contamination. Features include a compact DIN rail mount version, no contamination due to noncontact flow measurement, analog and digital output options and RS-485 Modbus digital communication.
WATER & WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS
Heron Innovators’ Suspended Air Flotation (SAF) is an advanced water treatment system that uses colloidal gas aphron (CGA) technology: a microbubble (5-25 µm) with a stable air core surrounded by a multilayer surfactant shell, forming an electrical double layer at the bubble-water interface, preventing coalescence and imparting a surface charge that attracts particles. These systems have a small footprint (1:10) and are ideal for facilities processing from 20 to over 8,000 gpm per unit. They are appropriate for both batch processing and high-flow operations and can meet the demands of industrial or municipal treatment processes.
VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE CABLES
Lapp’s ÖLFLEX VFD 1XL cable for modern variable frequency drive applications helps overcome challenges caused by pulse-width modulation (PWM), including electromagnetic interference (EMI), motor stress and reduced cable life. Engineered with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE plus) insulation and fine-stranded tinned copper conductors, this cable offers excellent electrical properties and flexibility for dynamic applications. Its durable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) jacket provides resistance to oil, UV exposure and harsh industrial chemicals, making it a good fit for hygiene-critical environments. Its shielding design features triple-layer foil, copper braid and drain wire, ensuring EMI protection and reliable system performance. With a TC-ER rating, it supports installation without conduit, reducing time and cost.

The EcoStruxure Water Advisor from Schneider Electric is a cloud-based intelligence platform that enables utilities to see what is happening in their infrastructure in real time. It brings together data from multiple systems and shows it in one place, so teams can quickly identify issues and decide how to respond. Designed to work with existing IT, operational and energy systems, the platform helps utilities break down operational silos and give a unified picture of how their networks are performing. This data-driven approach helps them anticipate disruption, respond to change and protect long-term water supply.
INDUSTRIAL VIDEO BORESCOPE
The VOYAGER M40 industrial video borescope from FIBERSCOPE is designed to help teams find hidden defects faster, with less disassembly and less downtime. Designed as a portable HD inspection platform, the VOYAGER M40 combines high-definition live imaging, 360-degree articulation, a modular interchangeable probe system and a field-ready build for demanding industrial environments. Its high-strength aluminum alloy quick-release design lets probes be changed without tools. The 5-inch HD touchscreen gives technicians a larger, more practical view in the field, and the IP68 waterproof probe is fully submersible and designed to handle moisture, oil and underwater conditions.
CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS
Pentair’s Aurora 382B single-stage vertical inline close and split coupled centrifugal pumps are designed for mounting directly in a pipeline and to reduce the space required in a pump room—two pumps fit in the space of one. Features include higher working pressures (up to 290 psi), a C-face bracket that accommodates most common National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)-rated motors, ductile iron casing for longer life with higher working pressures, a stainless steel shaft for minimum deflection and a patented jacking mechanism for quick and easy servicing.
CLEAN-IN-PLACE PUMPS
The Bredel CIP pump from Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions is intended for use in sanitary and hygienic processes that require optimal efficiency and regular clean-in-place (CIP). The pump features a new rotor to enable the achievement of CIP cleaning velocity requirements of >2 m per second. Automatic retractable shoes for cleaning the pump element inside are specifically designed for CIP processes to allow the pump and the rest of the system downstream to be cleaned at the correct fluid velocity. By retracting the shoes during cleaning, hose compressions at high temperatures are eliminated, thereby extending hose life and reducing costs of replacement hoses. The pump is available in sizes 20 (600 L/h), 25 (1,800 L/h) and 32 (3,200 L/h).
CHEMICAL PROCESS PUMPS
The ICi chemical process pump from ITT Goulds Pumps is engineered for demanding chemical and industrial applications, delivering broader hydraulic coverage, greater flexibility and extended equipment life. Available in 54 sizes and capable of reaching capacities up to 1,600 m³/h, it was designed to help engineers more precisely match pump performance to specific application requirements. Featuring a replaceable wear plate, the ICi helps reduce maintenance costs by protecting the pump against long-term deterioration. Applications include chemical processing, petrochemical and refining, industrial fluid transfer, water and wastewater treatment, process industries handling corrosive or viscous fluids and general industrial applications requiring continuous-duty performance.
RECESSED IMPELLER HORIZONTAL PUMPS
Tusk Industrial’s Fybroc Series 3000 recessed impeller horizontal pumps create a vortex that pulls solids through the casing with minimal contact, even in the toughest corrosive applications. The fully recessed impeller allows solids and stringy materials to pass through the casing without contacting the impeller, preventing clogging and wear. The pump’s wetted components are constructed from proprietary FRP, delivering chemical resistance and a longer service life in corrosive service. The back pull-out design allows for easy service of the rotating assembly without disconnecting the casing from the piping, reducing maintenance time.
SLURRY PUMPS
The 2309SM slurry pump from Cornell features a 2-inch discharge, 3-inch suction and enclosed impeller. The pump’s wet end construction is high-chrome white iron, and the pump includes a Type-2 single seal with Buna-N elastomers and tungsten carbide vs. silicon carbide seal faces for abrasion resistance. Operating levels include minimum flow of 125 gpm (28.4 m3/h), maximum flow of 730 gpm (165.8 m3/h) and maximum speed of 3,200 rpm.
HIGH-PRESSURE PITOT TUBE PUMPS
The T-GTO from Thomas Pump is a heavy-duty oil-lubricated pitot tube pump designed for critical applications. With capacities from 30-400 gpm (6-100 m3/hr) and pressures reaching 1,600 psi (110 bar), the T-GTO offers a variety of pump choices. Features include a rotating case, a stationary pickup tube and a mechanical seal that only seals against suction pressure to ensure pump reliability in demanding applications. The magnetic drain plug collects damaging metallic contaminants away from the bearings, and the heavy-duty shaft bearings offer extended bearing life with added benefits of noise reduction and reduced energy consumption.
FLOATING GRID AERATION UNIT
Mapal Aeration Solutions’ floating grid aeration unit with tubular diffusers is designed to maintain optimal diffuser submergence under variable water levels, ensuring stable and efficient oxygen transfer. It is particularly suitable for lagoons and basins where draining or civil works are not feasible, where the floor is uneven or where access to the tank floor is restricted. The tubular diffusers incorporate marine-grade stainless steel (304/316) inner tubes fitted with fine-bubble sleeves in EPDM, silicone or polyurethane. A stabilizing system of UV-resistant polypropylene floats supports the unit.
FLOW CONTROL VALVES
Cla-Val’s 40-01 and 640-01 rate of flow control valves prevent excessive flow by limiting flow to a preselected maximum rate, regardless of changing line pressure. They are hydraulically operated, pilot-controlled diaphragm valves. The pilot control responds to the differential pressure produced across an orifice plate installed downstream of the valve. Flow rate adjustments are made by turning an adjusting screw on the pilot control. The 40-01 and 640-01 include an orifice plate with a holder that should be installed 1-5 pipe diameters downstream of the valve.
