MONT BELVIEU & CONWAY AVERAGE THURSDAY PROPANE PRICES

at a glance During the latest mid-month period, prices at Mont Belvieu, Texas, decreased. The posted prices decreased 7 cents/gal, from May mid-month to June mid-month, and spot prices decreased 2.875 cents. Conway, Kansas, postings decreased 5.125 cents/gal and spots decreased 2 cents over the month.

at a glance Canada’s primary underground propane inventories increased by 43.3% in May, according to the Canada Energy Regulator (CER). The total represented a month-to-month increase of 193.1 Mcm. Compared to a year earlier, stocks were higher, with 104.1 Mcm, or 19.4%, more product on hand.

at a glance United States propane stocks experienced a 3.314 MMbbl decrease from May to June. East Coast stocks increased 727,000 bbl, the Midwest increased 2.129 MMbbl, the Gulf Coast increased 1.76 MMbbl, and the Rocky Mountain/West Coast decreased 278,000 bbl. Compared to the same time in June 2025, the June 2026 stocks were 18.474 MMbbl higher.
