MUTOH America launched the XpertJet 1341WR Pro, a 54” roll-to-roll dye sublimation inkjet printer designed for print professionals and creative businesses in apparel, soft signage, personalized products, custom decor, and more. The XPJ-1341WR Pro features a MUTOH AccuFine printhead with i-Screen print effect technology, delivering banding-free output at speeds up to 314 square feet per hour. MUTOH DH21 dye sublimation ink is engineered to provide high-density color, excellent jetting stability, and extended color consistency, and available in a CMYK configuration in 1,000ml ink bags.

International Coatings Ultimate Black ink

International Coatings Company has announced its new and improved Ultimate Black 717. The formula is upgraded so that it prints easier, offers a superior appearance, and delivers improved value without compromising performance, the company says. The new version focuses on how the ink performs and feels on press: delivering an easier setup, consistent runs, and a more matte appearance. Ultimate Black 717 is part of the FlexCure line, developed to be cured across a range of temperatures. For Ultimate Black, that range is 275 F to 325 F. Ultimate Black’s low-cure, low-bleed properties help stem dye migration on cotton/poly blends as well as on most polyester substrates.

New colors include: Gloss Ivory, Gloss Sand Dune, Satin Metallic Cyber Green, Matte Metallic Oasis Blue, and Gloss Metallic Gothic Rose. Supreme Wrapping Film color change vehicle wraps feature Avery Dennison Easy Apply RS technology. This innovation is developed to make application faster and easier, regardless of the applicator’s skill level. Independent Trading Varsity Full-Zip Hoodie

The new Varsity Zip Hoodie, style IND45UVZ, from Independent Trading features a solid color portion made of 10-ounce 75% cotton/25% polyester, and a heather portion made of 52% cotton/48% polyester. Featuring unisex sizes that range from extra small up through 3XL, it comes in two color combinations: black/gunmetal heather and charcoal heather/black. The blend face yarn is made of 30 singles cotton/polyester, and it has 1x1 jacquard rib-knit cuffs and waistband. The zipper is a No. 5 dyed-to-match nylon kissing zipper, and the neck is twill taped. Screen printers are encouraged to test before printing. This style is not suitable for discharge inks.

Mimaki USA has introduced the UJF-7151 plusII e UV-LED flatbed printer. The new UJF-7151 plusII e model enables increased three-dimensional texture production through ink layering and improved jetting accuracy to diverse shapes like curved and uneven surfaces. Key features of the UJF-7151 plusII e include industry-leading print accuracy, increased ink layering ability, improved ink ejection performance, accelerated primer application, and Mimaki Application Assistant (MA2), a new user application which displays all software compatible with a customer’s Mimaki printer and enables them to utilize product updates and feature enhancements.

Roland DGA Semi-Gloss Adhesive Canvas

Roland DGA has announced the addition of Semi-Gloss Adhesive Canvas (ESM-SGAC) to its lineup. Semi-Gloss Adhesive Canvas images on eco-solvent, latex/resin, and UV ink platforms while also offering greater impact, versatility, and tear resistance than paper-based media, designed for the “on demand” photographic reproduction market. The proprietary, permanent synthetic mounting adhesive makes it possible to apply canvas images almost anywhere, allowing for simple mounting to a multitude of surfaces without the stretcher bars or gasket framing traditional canvas/fabric prints typically require. Semi-Gloss Adhesive can also be applied quickly and easily to a variety of challenging flat wall, panel, and display surfaces, such as Ecor, HDF, Paper, Aluminum, Glass, Rigid PVC, Masonite Board, and Polycarbonate. The simplified adhesion process is said to eliminate the wrinkles and frustration end users often experience when applying other adhesive vinyl media.
