Featuring 10 laser-cut frame pieces of U.S. steel, the frame rails include an internal honeycomb insert for increased torsional rigidity. The rails are widened ahead of the cab and narrowed behind, allowing more room for headers and steering components. Shocks are mounted outside the frame rails to maximize roll stiffness and allow for 37x12 tires. The chassis is built around late-model LS/LT engine/transmission platforms using an Atlas transfer case.
