Editor's note

James Anderson is the editor-in-chief of GRAPHICS PRO magazine. He can be reached at janderson@cahabamedia.com.
As some of our readers may already have heard, last month Cahaba Media Group, the parent company of GRAPHICS PRO magazine, made the difficult decision to discontinue the GRAPHICS PRO EXPO trade shows.
We want to start by thanking the exhibitors, attendees, speakers, and team members who invested their time and energy in GPX over the years.
When Cahaba Media Group acquired GPX, we believed in the event’s potential and in the value of bringing this industry together in person. The reality is that GPX never recovered the momentum it needed coming out of the pandemic, and we must be honest that some of that is on us. At the same time, buyer behavior in the small and midsize shops that were the heart of GPX’s audience shifted permanently. Many moved their research and purchasing online, and that attendance base simply didn’t return. But our readership for GRAPHICS PRO’s print and digital content has remained strong. The audience is still there — how they engage has changed, and that’s a signal we’re paying attention to.
GRAPHICS PRO will continue to serve the markets at our core: signage and wide-format printing, awards and customization, and apparel decoration. Along with our monthly print magazine and recently redesigned digital edition, expect new products in the months ahead designed to reach you where and when we can best help grow your business.
We remain deeply committed to this industry and the people in it. That isn’t changing — just the shape it takes.
